Typical Duties of an Ambassador

  • Greet new comers
  • Introduce them to others ask them about themselves & their business
  • Invite them to chamber events
  • Assist the chamber in bringing in new members
  • Mentor new members and answer their questions
  • Assist with making phone calls to welcome new businesses
  • Help with registration or set up of events
  • Sit in on other Chamber committees and support as needed


Commitment as an Ambassador

  • Conduct myself in a professional manner, demonstrating respect and integrity.
  • Attend 2 major chamber functions in a given term
  • Attend all monthly ambassador meetings
  • Attend 8 events(any combination) Ribbon Cutting, Grand Opening, Open House, New Member Expo, Mixer, BCN, Value to Business Breakfast
  • Participate, sharing ideas, making suggestions, etc.


  • Each ambassador will be allowed 2 excused absences from monthly meetings
  • Each ambassador will be allowed 2 non-excused absences from monthly meetings



  • Use of the chamber office free of charge for 2 hours (to meet clients, to conduct work)
  • Spotlight in the weekly Newsletter 
  • Discount at all paid events
  • Exposure to all businesses
  • Entitled to a waived membership fee if they bring 8 new chamber members
